JV Softball suffers one run loss to Bamberg

Silver Bluff JV suffers tough loss to Bamberg 10-9 on Monday afternoon. The Bulldogs took an early lead but couldn’t hold on for the win. The leading hitters for the Bulldogs was Taylor Smith, Maddie Dority, Brooklyn Widener and Tiera Valentine each had hits in the game. Next game(DH) at Midland Valley on Wednesday (5:00pm/6:45pm).

Silver Bluff JV Softball improved to 2-3 with a 10-8 win over Edisto. Haeley Bowman was the winning pitcher with 6 strikeouts. JV Softball wins against Edisto

JV Softball picks up the win against Edisto 9-1 on Monday. Brooklyn Widener was the winning pitcher for the Bulldogs with 5 Strikeouts. Quinn Hornung (2RBI) and Cierra Green each had one hit apiece. Sara Rosier also picked up an RBI for the Bulldogs.  Next game is Thursday vs. Edisto @ 5pm (Home).

Errors and Lack of Offense leads to Loss

The Silver Bluff JV softball team loss to Pelion 17-1  on Thursday evening. Defensively, Silver Bluff committed some costly errors in the game. Offensively, Taylor Smith and Quinn Hornung each had 1 hit for the Bulldogs. Next Game: Monday at home vs Barnwell @ 5pm.

Spring Sports Helpful Information

A few spring sports will be opening up with conditioning this week . We wanted to share some helpful information for parents and for athletes wishing to tryout:   – Athletes must have a physical, parent permission, district Covid waiver fully completed before they can participate in conditioning or tryouts. Softball Conditioning & Tryout Information

Any girls wishing to try out softball need to get all of their paperwork filled out and turned in before you can start conditioning or tryouts.  You can turn your paperwork into Coach Shults or Coach Washington. Conditioning starting will begin next week. Coach Shults will notify athletes on days and times of conditioning by the end of
